The Camden-Rockport Area The Camden-Rockport area is accessible by airplane, bus and car. There is a limousine service from Portland Airport, about an hour and a half ride from Rockport. There is also air service from Bangor Airport about an hour and a quarter ride from Rockport, and there are flights from Boston to Owls Head Airport, about a twenty minute ride from Rockport. The Concord bus lines have several trips going north to Bangor and south to Portland and Boston. The mid-coast area is accessible by car by taking the Maine Turnpike to exit 9 (Bath-Brunswick) and following Route 1 to Thomaston, Rockland, Rockport, Camden and Lincolnville.
